Fathers Day

Let’s start with last Sunday BDSC, it was Fathers Day and lunch served up a beautiful grilled salmon steak while the grill served up the most tender tasty stuffed pork loin with applesauce! Perfect! Now, dinner hit a home run with the BDSC Chop house, incredible grilled T bones, still pink in the middl and SO VERY TENDER! The twice baked potato, on point, the sweet mini corn on the cob& sautéed mushrooms were fabulous! Come On! It was phenomenal! On Monday, I enjoyed the heck out of steak hash for breakfast! It was outstanding!! I heard the breakfast vegetable pizza was really good too plus I heard the hot roast beef melt w/caramelized onions was good also. On Tuesday breakfast served up tender delicious ham steaks with sweet pineapple rings & lunch served up braised chicken, corn bread& a flavorful chicken vegetable stir fry. The salad bar is always a winning hand and all the different hummus! Beet, pumpkin, avocado, white garlic bean, they are all outstanding! The bake shop did a great job on the banana nut bread! On Wednesday V saved me 2 huevos rancheros! Thank you! And at lunch they served up beef stir fry, the meat was tender & flavorful and, I had some butter fettuccini. It was lovely! On Thursday, for breakfast the steak on croissant was a winning hand! Your steak and or ham on croissant are always the bomb! Thank you! I changed up and had a burger and baked beans for lunch and it was good! Oh, I noticed a strawberry almond pie in the dessert case, had to try it & it was good. It may have been a cherry almond, I’m not sure. Either way, it was a winner! On Friday, they had my cream of wheat for breakfast! Oh, the salad bar had sweet delicious cantaloupe & home made blueberry yoghurt. I love the cherry, blueberry, yogurt!! At lunch, they served up tender grilled chicken w/pineapples & seasoned Southwest vegetables. Great meal! Oh! THE most outstanding, tasted like Katz in NY cheese cake! Are you kidding me? The base, crust was out of this world! The cheesecake melted in your mouth! Holy Smokes! It was no words for this one! Today I didn’t eat my bacon from breakfast, I saved it and picked up 2 pieces of homemade cheese bread, toasted it, put mayo& mustard on it, lettuce, tomato my bacon& some shredded carrots with delicious dill pickles!! Yep, a nice big BLT! It was delicious! All in all another great week for the Team at BDSC! Thank you all for what you do, day in, day out. Have a great week ahead! Always, V/R
