Celebration week!

Good Morning BDSC, Here we are at the end of another week and last Saturday had a GREAT Cabbage and Carrot delicious perfectly prepared Cole Slaw on the salad bar! It was also a great day for the Taco Bar with tender chicken, refried beans, delicious bowls etc. The Roasted Pit ham I wanted to save for tomorrow; so, on Sunday, I toasted an English muffin with salad bar swiss cheese and IT WAS FABULOUS! Nice and thick, juicy, moist and tender...outstanding! At lunch the blackened catfish got many positive feed back! The mashed potato and the garlic roasted carrots were spot on! On Monday I was surprised to see a ham, cheese and egg on English muffin on line and what a HOME RUN! Another great thick moist tender tasty sandwich!! The Roasted Chicken on the Variety bar was nicely prepared as well for lunch. On Tuesday the Night Crew prepared a lovely breakfast casa dia and at lunch hot off the grill, to order Pancakes! No One minds the few minutes it takes to get a hot off the grill pancake, nicely done!! Wednesday the BAKE SHOP decorated a beautiful Cinco De Mayo celebration CHOCOLATE cake!! The Shredded Beef tostadas, Camarones Diablos were all nicely done, great eye appeal, texture and taste a winning hand!! On Thursday the Chicken Quesadilla got many positive comments and on Friday the Beef and Spinach Lo Mein had TENDER, TASTY BEEF and was nicely done!! It was colorful along with the carrots/zucchini and egg plant roasted vegies! Here we are on Saturday, not waiting until lunch but I know the BBQ Pulled Pork Sandwich is going to be a home run! Breakfast was good, whoever this week has been preparing the omelets have done a great job on the CHEESE inside!! WELCOME BACK to the Food Service Team and thank you all for what you do day in and day out. It is greatly appreciated! Have a great week ahead!
