Labor Day Goodies

Good Morning BDSC, Starting off with last Sunday, the lunch menu served up a delicious Italian Sausage and a side of baked beans on the Variety Bar. Nicely done. On Monday, Labor Day lunch served a delicious Roasted Chicken with whole Roast (Best Part) GARLIC. The delicious, plain, buttered corn was perfect and the green beans and corn bread were very nicely done. On Tuesday, John and his team prepared a SLOPPY JOE that was outstanding. There is sloppy joe, and there is sloppy joe. John and his team had a delicious meaty, tasty product on a nice supple bun that was truly outstanding. THANK YOU! On Wednesday, your NIGHT SHIFT SUPERVISOR WAS SO KIND TO HAVE 2 ONION-LESS Huevos Rancheros and as always, they had beautiful color, and were very beautifully prepared! Thank you for that!! At lunch I picked up some Dr. Pepper Glazed ham and it was SO GOOD! The broccoli with pepper and Corn were a nice colorful side. On Thursday, I took a sample of the Brazilian Pork Black Bean Stew and it had quite a kick for this ol' midwestern gal, but was very, very good! Now at dinner, THE JAMAICAN OXTAIL STEW was PHENOMINAL, NO KIDDING! They had the most perfectly done carrots in there, really! big pieces of perfectly prepared carrots with the stew...it was INCREDIBLY GOOD!! On Friday, let's talk about one of your team members "Milan". I went to get some "goopey" eggs, and Milan noticed the server a bit confused by my expression. (I do apologize for that) He literally swept in, got into a new pan, as the pan was almost all gone, and picked up 2 beautifully "goopey" runny, delicious over easy eggs!! GREAT C/S!! Thank you! I tried at lunch the Granny's Vinegar Chicken and again, a bit spicy for me HOWEVER, after speaking with a couple of jalapeño eating patrons, they thought it was Perfect! the parsley potatoes were nicely done, good flavor along with the FRIED nicely well done Eggplant!! And then there is today, Saturday. I'm looking forward to the taco bar; never disappointed and always delicious with the side of nice plain Tomato, Shredded Cheese, lettuce, sour cream!!!!! Thank you all for what you do day in and day out. Before I go, thank you Raj and Edgar for daily "Light coffee" and I found others who prefer the lighter coffee, so thank you again.
